A Possible iphone hack

What is in this blog entry is comply just a theory that I cooked up in my head when I found out that there was a kill switch that apple had made for the Iphone to kill any app on a phone remotely. So no of this is true as far as I know.

So now this is what I was thinking, last week I believe it was that apple admitted that there is a kill switch deep inside the iphones OS that allows them to kill any app remotely on the iphone. Now what I was thinking is what if someone were to hack apple and get a holed of this kill switch wouldn’t it be possible for the hacker to start messing with so enterprise level stuff like they showed in Steve’s key note back at WWMC I believe it’s called, that they were showing businesses using it well what if one of the apps is mission critical for them and they wake up and its gone from the phone.

I was also thinking could this kill switch kill other apps than the third party apps like the Ipod part that’s just really an app on there so you can get your music that is on the hardware could the hacker also take that off to making so you can’t lessen to your music of podcast or whatever you do with the ipod part.

Now I’m sure I’m just being paranoid and most of this couldn’t happen but the Iphone and the Ipod touch are both running an OS which means some ware deep inside its code is some kind of exploit just waiting to be found and exploited.

Podcasting

Podcast or Netcast whatever you want to call them they have started to make a change I think for the better or at least for the people that miss Tech TV. I was one of the thousands that were sadden when G4 took over and killed all the good shows on there. I think the only show that aired on Tech TV that is still there is Wired for Sex (Surprise Surprise).

Thank god Leo Laporte started twit and also thank god for Revion 3. I don’t know what I would do without thoughts pod casting networks I would drive myself crazy and I would not know most of the stuff that I know now. I watch more podcast more than I do TV now I find pod cast are a lot more convenient then TV cause I just turn on Itunes and its downloaded to my computer and I can watch them whenever I want. I myself normally watch my podcast when I’m eating breakfast normally things like the chris Pirillo show and Techzilla.

Though I see a down side to it I find is that pod cast are just like blogs but more annoying in the wrong hands. Cause of the fact that pod cast are so easy to make that means that any dumb ass can say what they want and normally do have their facts striate. That’s really the down side I think to podcast but as long you stick with figures or networks that you know and trust like CNET or soon to be called NBCNET you will fine and won’t really hear from them or other networks that you trust from TV.

Go to your Itunes or whatever is your favorite RSS reader and subscribe to shows that seem to interest you. At this point there is millions of them so I’m sure you will be able to find something and you will never have to surf around your TV to find something to watch again.

Computers For The Old

A week ago I believe I talked about how my grandfather got a computer. Well it has been about a week later and he loves it. My grandma has been telling me that he has been getting up at 8 A.M to get on the computer. At this point my grandpa know ‘s more about the computer than my mom dose who uses computers every night at her job. I just found that funny.

My point is that most older people don’t think that they can use a computer. When you say computer they think of the old like punch card mashies. You just have to show them how easy they are to use. I just think that it is better for a older person to have a computer just cause it makes things a lot easier for older people. For example things like paying bills ordering medicine and in some cases even get groceries.

I really think that if you have someone in your family that is older and they don’t think they could ever use a computer you should find some way to let them use one and show them to that it is easy. So computers can be used by all you just got to know how to back up so if you mess up you can go back.

What Will happen When 7 Is Here

Every now in then late at night I start thinking about random things like what will happen to vista when windows 7 comes out. I heard some ware that windows 7 is going to be more business orated. That made me think that maybe windows Vista will still have life after 7.

Let me explained, I think when windows 7 comes out that most of the people that are going to be upgrading to windows 7 will be enterprise. Wile the rest of use (the consumers) will be happy with vista and wont see any reathen to upgrade to windows 7.

What I'm saying is windows 7 will be the OS for enterprise and vista will be the OS for the rest of us. That's how I think it will be. But just like any thing elts in tech you never know.

A Lay Out For Facebook

 

Facebook this week came out with there new layout. Witch really isn't that grate or different from what I can see. The only different that I can see is that it looks longer that's all. There really isn't that much to say about it. I really don't like Facebook I use it I just like myspace over Facebook. That's about all I have to say about the new Facebook look. I will just end by saying that the myspace layout looked a lot better.

A New Computer

Today I went with my grandparents to get there first computer and boy was that fun. We went to circuit city to get it it was a Compaq pasarieo laptop. Getting it wasn't that bad other than I  miss read the thing I found on there site. I thought it was $499.99 but that was with a rebate. It turned out to be around $600.00 so there was a slight error there with that.

Like I said before they got a Compaq its running a Intel Pentium duel cor prosseser with 2 GB of RAM. It works pretty good for a laptop or maybe that's cause I'm use to this one witch I can never say is the best laptop ever. But it dose get my work done and school work so its not that bad.

Trying to teach them things was hard though cause what they want to do is things on the Internet. I just don't want to be telling them things they wont ever remember or use. So I showed them how to do a few things in Word and how to turn it on and off that's about it. It was really even harder to cause I had maybe 3 house of sleep.

Now as they say they are now part of the 21st century. They just need to get on the Internet witch will be soon and I can help a lot more.
